Field engineers support the installation and commissioning of METRYS AMR water meters on water supply schemes. The role is based at the Dehradun factory and takes you out to scheme sites, working with the AMR units, the LoRaWAN radio link and the readings that reach Meterexo.
What you'll do
- Support the installation and commissioning of METRYS AMR water meters on water supply schemes.
- Set up and check METRYS AMR-100 units so that each meter reports over LoRaWAN.
- Confirm that readings from newly commissioned meters arrive in Meterexo.
- Check that meters are within range of a LoRaWAN gateway, and report gaps in coverage.
- Look into meters that stop reporting, and reset or replace units where needed.
- Keep accurate site records of meters, units and connections.
What we look for
- A diploma or degree in electronics, electrical, instrumentation or a related field.
- Willingness to work outdoors and travel to scheme sites.
- Careful, clear record-keeping.
- An interest in radio communication; experience with LoRaWAN helps.
- Patience and courtesy with residents and scheme staff on site.
