Mega Worker Pvt Ltd is a water meter manufacturer in Dehradun. We make water meters and the systems that read them, and we are the company behind two brands: Metrys for water meters and flow instruments, and Meterexo for meter data management.

Our office, factory and registered office are at one address in Mehuwala Maafi. That makes us a water meter company in Uttarakhand in the plainest sense: the meters are manufactured, assembled, calibrated and tested on the same site where enquiries are answered.

What we do

We make water meters, offer them with remote reading, and work with the utilities, contractors and buildings that need both.

  • We make water meters

    Multi-jet, bulk Woltmann, ultrasonic and electromagnetic meters, manufactured, assembled, calibrated and tested at the Dehradun factory.

  • Meters read remotely

    AMR meters in the Metrys range carry the METRYS AMR-100, which sends readings over LoRaWAN radio. Meterexo turns readings into bills and reports.

  • We work with utilities, contractors and buildings

    A utility needs bills it can stand behind, a contractor the documents a tender asks for, a society a fair way to share the water charge.

How a meter is made in Dehradun

Four stages on one site, from supplier components to a tested meter. Plastic parts are made in Delhi and brass parts in Jamnagar, by vendors working from Mega Worker's own moulds.

  1. Electronic and mechanical manufacturing Sensors and electronic components come from suppliers and are worked into meter parts here.

  2. Assembly The manufactured parts are assembled into complete meters on the same site.

  3. Calibration What a meter registers is compared with a known volume of water passed through it, so the register reads true.

  4. Testing The last stage. The factory tests 800 meters a day and turns out 15,000 meters a month.
